Getting ready for your wedding day at a hotel can have its challenges. Hotel rooms do not always provide enough natural light for makeup or photos. And the rooms are not equipped to simultaneously run multiple hairdryers, curling irons, airbrush machines, steamers, or anything else you may need.

What is included when renting the salon?

When renting the salon you will have full access to eight beauty stations, two salon hair wash sinks, lounge area with bar and mini refrigerator, and a private full bath. We also provide hair towels, protective robes, and Kevin Murphy shampoo and conditioner.

The salon can comfortably fit 27 people, between the main salon and lounge area. We can fit nine artists simultaneously: eight stations that can be used for hair or makeup and one large counter space for makeup artists. You’re more than welcome to invite your florist, photographer, videographer and planner. The salon is the perfect place to get ready for a special event because it can easily accommodate all your vendors.

We are situated in the heart of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. At 140 Thames Street, we are directly above the Brick Alley Pub on the third floor. Our prime location also means an easy lunch option for you and your guests (the kitchen opens daily at 11:30am).

What makes your salon experience unique?

Oh there are plenty! With access to the salon surround sound and Sonos radio, you can be your own DJ. The lounge area is complete with a mini refrigerator and bar which makes it the perfect spot to start the celebration: Bring your own libations and make yourself at home.

What does it cost to rent the salon?

The rental fee is $850 for 4 hours. Each additional hour is $275 and a $250 cleaning fee will be applied.
